CCSF Board of Trustees to be reinstated?

SF Gate reports that the CCSF Board of Trustees might be restored in July of this year.  The article states:

City College of San Francisco’s elected Board of Trustees — sidelined for alleged incompetency since 2013 — will be restored to governing power in July, a year earlier than expected, if the trustees complete professional training, education officials announced Monday.
Until the trustees return, City College will continue its reliance on a decision-making czar, known as the “special trustee with extraordinary powers,” who has the final word on how to run City College.
Guy Lease, chief financial officer and executive vice president with the community college executive search firm PPL, Inc. will step into the special trustee position, said Brice Harris, California’s community college chancellor. Lease is also the retired president and superintendent of the Lake Tahoe Community College District, where worked for 18 years until 2008.
