FACCC part time bill for office hours clears a major committee.

A press release from FACCC reports that Bill AB 2069 has passed the Assembly Higher Education Committee by a vote of 13 to well no one.  This bill will require the District to offer part time office hours.  This is key as it will also be a metric on the District's Student Success Scorecard.

It seems likely to pass.  This is something our part timers need especially given the horrible compensation rate.

Now can we get a better pay rate for our part timers?  We shall see.
