AB 955 Two Tiered Tuition

Apparently, AB 955 is not on Governor Brown's desk.  Nothing has shown up recently in the news feeds on whether it was vetoed or approved.

The Orange County Register reports widespread opposition.  Due to enrollment numbers, El Camino would not be eligible for this.  Basically, this was spearheaded by Long Beach City College:

Courses at the higher tuition rate could only be offered during the summer and winter terms, which are the condensed four- to six-week terms between the fall and spring semesters.
The Long Beach Community College District, which runs just one campus, is the only district that would participate in the pilot, of six districts that have been granted the opportunity under AB 955.
UC and CSU students wishing to take the higher-priced community-college courses also would be eligible to enroll.
Long Beach City College recently modified their calendar to have Winter terms.

CTA also opposes this bill.
